Release Note for SmartVPN Client

The Smart VPN Client is a VPN configuration utility. It makes VPN configuration easy for users. It
could support the following VPN schemas, PPTP, L2TP, IPSec and DrayTek SSL Tunnel.
New Features
None.
Improvement
Corrected: New version of SmartVPN Client could not be installed, while the old version
client was running.
Improved: Remove the "DES/3DES/AES only" security methods for Windows 7 and
above, since they do not support the methods any more.
Improved: Add "Remember Password" checkbox in dialup window, so that a user can
choose not to remember password to increase security.
Improved: Hide the "Username/Password" by default. The settings will be shown when
you enable the "Disable pop-up VPN information window..." checkbox.
Improved: Support setting WINS address for SSL/PPTP/L2TP/L2TP over IPSec tunnel
for Windows 7 and above.
Improved: Client will automatically ignore the port setup in the "VPN Server IP/Host
Name" field, when you try to dialup an IPSec/PPTP/L2TP/L2TP over IPSec tunnel.
Improved: Support TLS 1.2 / 1.1 for SSL tunnel.
Improved: Support the DH Group 14 key exchange algorithm.
Improved: Disable the "SSL 3.0" security method by default.
